Flint United Announces Director of Player Development & Personnel, Marcus Stout

(Flint, Mich.) – Flint United Basketball Club announces Marcus Stout as Director of Player Development and Personnel. 

Marcus Stout is a professional basketball trainer with expertise in youth development and pre-draft training. He has served as a lead trainer over the past 6 NBA Drafts working with 19 draft picks and many other current NBA players including the following: Brandon Ingram, Jamal Murray, Derrick White, Tyler Herro, and Mikal Bridges.

Beginning his training career in 2012, he has trained over 25 NBA players and many professional basketball players based in Europe. His holistic approach to development has allowed him to build a successful business and be active in off-the-court decision making in building players’ careers.A native of Detroit, Michigan, he attended Detroit Renaissance High School where he won a State Championship. He later attended Fordham University and was inducted into the Fordham University Hall Of Fame. He also played several seasons of professional basketball overseas.

Flint United was launched in October 2020 and is scheduled to play our first game in March 2021.
