Flint United Announces Official Shoelace Partner

(Flint, Mich.) – Flint United Basketball Club is partnering with Get Laced. Get Laced is known for taking normal sneakers and turning them into something unique and dynamic by creating new shoelaces. This partnership is seasonal and exclusive. Get Laced will be the Official Shoelace of Flint United Basketball Club. During this partnership, Get Laced will create Flint United shoelaces for the team and our community to show unity, sportsmanship, and carry the Flint United spirit. 

MarLan Parker, Owner of Get Laced says, “We are elated to be partnering with Flint United! It’s important for us to connect with organizations and brands that share our same ideals. Also, Flint United is entering the game and they are going to take over the TBL. Let’s Go!”

When asked how the partnership will impact the team, Aggie Dent, Director of Research and Engagement says, “This partnership is very unique and timely. There has been a huge increase in sneakerheads and shoe collectors around the United States and in Michigan. Having Get Laced as our Official Shoelace Partner we will create community and hype around the Flint United players’ and fans’ shoes. We can’t wait to share our new shoelaces with the Flint United community!”

Flint United was launched in October 2020 and is scheduled to play our first game in March 2021.
